FRATM!
Savino Carbone/Ottavia Farchi winners of the "Artistic Residencies of Contemporary Art in Puglia – 2025
The FRATM! exhibition opens on December 12th at Palazzo Planelli in Bitonto. It is the result of the artistic residency of Savino Carbone and Ottavia Farchi, winners of the “Artistic Residencies of Contemporary Art in Puglia – 2025” call for proposals, promoted by the Puglia Region – Youth Policies and the Puglia Culture Consortium in collaboration with ARTI.

Between late September and November, the artists immersed themselves in the spaces and energies of the Galactic Node in Bitonto, at the Officine Culturali, transforming the city into a living laboratory of observation, dialogue, and shared creation. The goal of FRATM! is to narrate the lives of young people between Generation Z and Alpha, restoring complexity and delicacy to an imagery that is often ignored or stereotyped. Through film photographs and audiovisual materials collected in everyday locations, Carbone and Farchi have constructed a choral narrative that spans the outskirts and the city center, exploring fraternity, vulnerability, and desire, and transforming Bitonto into an emotional map of the city.
